The Fort Wayne Männerchor and Damenchor are dedicated to preserving German musical traditions through choral singing. Their performances and events bring the community together while celebrating the rich heritage of German music and culture.

The Fort Wayne Sport Club is a leading hub for soccer in the region, offering programs for players of all ages—from youth development to adult recreational and competitive teams. With roots in German heritage dating back to 1927, the club continues to promote sportsmanship, community, and cultural connection through the game.

The Fort Wayne Turners are part of a national organization rooted in German heritage, dedicated to promoting physical fitness, education, and community engagement. With a history grounded in the Turnverein tradition, they continue to foster wellness, cultural connection, and a strong sense of community through programs and events for all ages.

Fort Wayne GermanFest is a four-day celebration of German culture that brings the community together each summer. Featuring authentic food, music, entertainment, and activities for all ages, the festival highlights the traditions and connections that continue to shape Fort Wayne.


Allen County Public Library

The Allen County Public Library (ACPL) is a valuable community resource offering programs and services that support cultural learning and connection. From bilingual German Storytime programs to one of the largest genealogy research centers in the country, ACPL provides access to global records and expert staff who can help individuals explore their family history and heritage.


Fort Wayne Sister Cities International

Fort Wayne Sister Cities fosters international connections that strengthen cultural understanding and community ties. Through its long-standing partnership with Gera, Germany, the organization supports exchanges of students, artists, and community members, enriching both cities through shared experiences and traditions.


Fort Wayne Tänzer

The Fort Wayne Tänzers are a local German dance group dedicated to sharing traditional dance and culture with the community. Performing at Fort Wayne GermanFest since 2012, they welcome new members ages 5 and up and invite the community to support and celebrate German heritage through dance.
